Lena Hach was born in Hesse in 1982. She attended a school for clowns and then studied English, German and creative writing. She initially worked as a journalist before devoting herself to children’s and young adult literature. Numerous books by Lena Hach have since been published by Mixtvision, including the Christmas read-aloud book ‘Leander Linnen’s Shop of Wonders’, the children’s series ‘Mission Hollercamp’ and the young adult books ‘Green Gherkins’ and ‘Sweet-salty Popcorn’. ‘Tomke Digs’ is her first picture book.
