Me, My Awfully Nice Family and Other Disasters

Family is really nice and sometimes really exhausting!

Once again, 13-year-old Martha has to get used to another one of her mum’s boyfriends. She already has enough on her plate with her stepfathers, her two half-brothers Tobi and Justus and various grandparents. But this time her mother Fritzi decides to take the children to live with her new boyfriend Clemens in Frankfurt. What?! Martha can hardly remember spending a single day without one of her many relatives and loved ones. And if her biological father ever wanted to see her, how would he be able to find her?

But the move also gives Martha new freedom – finally more time for herself and her friends. And then there’s Boris, the son of one of her mother’s former fellow students, who awakens completely new feelings in Martha.

But Fritzi soon breaks up with Clemens – again! – and wants to return to Berlin. Martha has had enough! Not with her, after all, her life is at stake too …
