Lisa Rammensee was born in Nuremberg in 1990 and is proud of her Franconian roots. Via Trier, where her communication design studies gave her a lot of helpful knowledge about design and layout, she finally came to Hamburg. There she is working on her Master’s degree in illustration at the HAW. Her heart beats for unusual, (still) unknown creatures like her favourite animal, the aardvark. Similar to capybaras, this one has not often been featured in children’s books.
