Anna Aparicio Català (Barcelona, 1991) has a degree in Fine Arts (majoring in Drawing) from the University of Barcelona and studied illustration at the Escola de la Dona de Barcelona (Women’s School of Barcelona). She combines her work as an illustrator with that of an assistant in the children’s section of a public library. She has collaborated with publishers in Spain, France and Italy, and her works have been translated into different languages. The Mischievous ABCs is her third homegrown creation. Her books Pataletas, Nuestro circo (“Our Circus”) and El sapo y los niños (“The Toad and the Children”) have also been published by Takatuka.
In 2021, Anna is a finalist of the 2021 Golden Pinwheel and thus part of the exhibition at the China Shanghai International Children’s Book Fair.
