Henriette Piggyback – the cheerful little witch with a great inventive spirit
Great-aunt Martha has received a huge egg in the post and is about to crack it when Henriette realises that the parcel has been delivered to the wrong address: it should actually be delivered to the Zoological Witches’ Institute, Department of Mythical Creatures. Mythical creatures?!
Suddenly the egg cracks and the shell breaks – revealing a little dragon! Henriette is delighted. Unfortunately, the cheeky dragon is full of mischief, escapes on the way to the Zoological Witches’ Institute and causes a huge mess. But then Henriette has a clever idea of how they can still reach their destination with a rubber dinghy, a picnic blanket and a fire-breathing dragon on board …

“We laughed a lot while reading – the wordplay, the quirky ideas and this sugar-sweet, nettle-eating mini dragon are just so much fun (…) Funny, chaotic, enchanting – Henriette Huckepack brings magic and lots of fun to the bookshelf!” –Sedef @sedef-liest.querbeet
“We were particularly taken with the little dragon, who provokes many laughs with his cute manner and the funny pranks he plays. We also loved the unconventional ideas of Henriette, Ferida and Martha, which ultimately lead them to their goal. These creative solutions make the story even more exciting and entertaining. Overall, this book is a wonderfully colourful and crazy reading pleasure.” – Anja @anjasbuecherregal
