Barbara van den Speulhof is a passionate story creator. Picture books as door openers to the world of fantasy and empathy are a special concern of her heart. Some of her books have also enjoyed international popularity or have made their way onto the theatre stage. She also writes, produces and directs radio plays. When she is not on expeditions, Barbara van den Speulhof lives in Frankfurt am Main. Amelie und die Entdecker [Amelie and the Explorers] is her first book with Mixtvision.
