A Winter to Wiggle Your Ears

What does a wild boar do in winter?
Matti and Janne are spending their winter holidays with Aunt Olga, who still heats her house with wood from the shed. Wampe, an old boar that even she has never seen, lives nearby. Matti and Janne are excited to see if they will succeed to catch a glimpse of Wampe.
On the second day, their moment arrives: in the snow-covered winter forest, they discover Wampe’s tracks near a feeding trough. If they had known that wild boars like to bury themselves in the snow, they certainly wouldn’t have sat down on the small hill…
Kristina Andres uses good and exciting stories to pass on as much interesting information as possible about animals and nature. This includes wild boars, which are often the subject of scary stories.
