Roser Rimbau was born in Girona, Spain in 1968. She is a former journalist, former corrector and former percussionist, but she has no intention to stop writing for children. In 2006 she received La Galera’s Comte Kurt award for En Naïm s’ha descolorit (Naïm has lost color). Takatuka also published her story, El Gol (The Goal), Quan l’home més fort del món es posa al telèfon tothom el confon amb la tia Encarna (When the strongest man in the world answers the phone, everyone thinks he’s auntie Encarna) and La carta (The Letter).
