Petra Bartoli y Eckert lives near Regensburg in Bavaria. She studied social education and worked for many years with children and young people with behavioural problems. She has always loved stories – in books, on TV, on the radio or made up herself. That’s why she took a different path in 2008: After training as a scriptwriter, she has since been writing for radio, television and various book publishers. And in her free time? She likes to go for long walks outside, because that’s where she encounters the best stories.
