Karsten Teich was born in Hannoversch Münden in 1967. After studying art at the University of the Arts in Kassel, he worked for various magazines and daily newspapers. He has written and illustrated many award-winning children’s books, including the Cowboy Klaus series (Tulipan). Karsten Teich lives in Berlin.
