The cat (Sir Arthur, as he likes to call himself), spends the winter months in the south. In the spring, however, he is drawn back home. But when he arrives, it is no longer old Luise who lives there, but Mrs. Federschuh, who took over the house from the late Luise. Arthur now has to deal with Mrs. Federschuh and causes a lot of chaos in the apartment. He’s also taken with Smara, the neighborhood cat, and of course he messes with her companion Casper. But when Arthur promises Smara a great hat with a huge emerald and claims that he can do magic, things get complicated for him. Where should he get an emerald and how does he get Frau Federschuh to tailor the hat for Smara? What a cat show!
