Zoë. A Summer Full of Lies/Life

The parents of 12-year-old Zoë are currently having bad luck with their jobs, so they don’t hesitate when they inherit the Silver Lake Campsite from their late great-uncle Karl: they move from Hamburg to the countryside, renovate the old site with enthusiasm and discover whole new skills in themselves.

Throughout it all, they are accompanied by Great-Uncle Karl, or rather, the ghost of the deceased! But only Zoë can see and hear him. The old man becomes her friend and advisor, and when the first summer guests arrive, he helps her understand the many different people: the annoying Cheyenne, for example, who constantly brags about her famous father, or Anders, who never knew his parents – and whom Zoë thinks is pretty great, but so does Cheyenne.
Then suddenly there is a spate of thefts at the campsite, and the search for the culprit brings more than one secret to light.
