Timur, almost 13 years old and known as Tim (vegetarian and reptile expert), had imagined his summer holidays would be very different: instead of accompanying his father on a research trip to Cambodia, he ends up with his mysterious aunt Melda in Turkey – in Amintos, a secret city that isn’t even on Google Maps. 
Once in Amintos, he finds himself surrounded by flying carpets and inexplicable phenomena. And then Tim learns that his mother was once a famous temple agent and that he is now supposed to take up her legacy – but could someone please ask him if he even wants to?! 
At the same time as his arrival, the presence of the Noctis, dangerous creatures from the underworld, increases. Coincidence? When Tim discovers a clue to his missing mother, he can’t be stopped and, together with his cousins Patty and Pars, plunges headlong into a magical adventure…
