Sibel Susann Teoman has a Greek grandfather, a French grandmother and a Tatar grandmother, a German father and a Turkish mother. Add to that a husband who is half Turkish and half Bosnian and two children who grew up trilingual in four countries, and you have a fun mix of different languages and cultures! After studying German language and literature in Bonn and Istanbul, she lived in Cologne, Istanbul and Budapest and taught English and German as foreign languages at several private schools in Turkey. She has been living in Switzerland since 2022.
