Michael Roher, * 1980 in Lower Austria, trained as a social worker in Vienna. His love for the circus, for drawing and design as well as for working with people determines his activities and projects. He has received numerous awards for his children’s books, including: Dixi Children’s Literature Prize, Romulus Candea Prize, Illustration Prize of the City of Vienna, Austrian Children’s and Youth Book Prize.
