Anna Gusella is an illustrator and author who lives in Berlin with her family and dog Ella Propella. What she loves about her job is that drawings are not bound by reality and that you can show things that are not normally visible, whether they be feelings, fantasy creatures, thoughts or smells. The word ‘illustrate’ comes from the Latin word meaning ‘to illuminate, to make bright’ – which Anna finds very fitting. When she is not designing books or games, she draws for magazines and agencies. She also teaches creative courses for children and adults.
