Atlantis has been publishing children’s books since 1936 – making Atlantis the oldest children’s book publisher in Switzerland.
Since the beginning the focus has always been to publish high-quality picture books for children and adults. The strong backlist with timeless stories, new debuts and non-fiction titles make up the diversity of the program. It is discovered and loved by new generations, well-known and highly regarded abroad (with licensed editions in dozens of countries).
Looking to the future, Atlantis’ goal is still the same: to encourage the next generations of new authors and illustrators in Switzerland and all over the world to inspire children with their stories.
