Dr. Petra Altmann

Dr. Petra Altmann studied communication studies, history of art and sociology in Mainz and Munich. For many years she has held executive positions in a number of publishing houses and today works as a freelance journalist and book author in Grünwald near Munich. She has published numerous books, amongst others with Anselm Grün. For many years she has devoted her work to monasterial tradtions and spends a lot of time in convents - as part of a silent period, seminars or spiritual exercises. Anselm Grün

Anselm Grün, OSB (born January 14, 1945 in Junkershausen, Germany) is a German Benedictine padre. He is in charge of Münsterschwarzbach Abbey's financial matters, being its Cellerar. Anselm Grün is the author of approximately 300 books with focus on spirituality. Of his books more than 14 million copies have been sold in 30 languages. Furthermore Anselm Grün holds courses and lectures. He also counsels managers spiritually.

Anselm Grün terminated his school years in 1964 with the A-level equivalent Abitur at the grammar school in Würzburg, Germany. In the same year he began as a novice at the nearby Benedictine Münsterschwarzach Abbey. From 1965 to 1971 he studied philosophy and theology at St. Ottilien Archabbey and in Rome. In 1974 he completed his PhD in theology on Karl Rahner. From 1974 to 1976 Anselm Grün studied Business in Nuremberg. Then he became the Cellerar of Münsterschwarzach Abbey and is thus responsible for the economic administration of the abbey with its over 280 employees and 20 businesses.

Heinrich Hemme

Heinrich Hemme, born in 1955, is a German physicist, university professor and author. From 1979 to 1984 he studied physics and obtained a PhD in 1987. From 1988 to 1993 he was a scientist at the Philips research laboratories in Hamburg and Aachen. Today, he teaches physics at the University of Applied Sciences in Aachen.

Heinrich Hemme is the author of numerous articles and books on mathematics and physics as a popular science.

Birgit Laue

works as a midwife and has more than 20 years experience in homeopathy, herbal medicine and
anthroposophical medicine. She has worked as a teacher for the medical professions, and
as a medical advisory for a pharma company producing complementary medicines. She
has published numerous books on questions of health, education and family relationships.

Bjørn Thorsten Leimbach is an alternative practicioner for psychotherapy, a couple and sexual therapist with his own practice in Dortmund. Marie-Sophie Lobkowicz, born in 1980, lived in Prague and England, studied history in Vienna and Salzburg and now lives in Munich as a freelance author.
